Thank you to the committee for organizing the 33rd annual Christina River Watershed Cleanup, which takes place at many sites throughout New Castle County. At Fox Point State Park, volunteers will clean up litter on the north point, other shorelines, and surrounding areas. This year’s event is scheduled for April 12th!
Parking: Back (northernmost) parking lot, beyond the pavilions, and surrounding area
Meet: Check-in and supply tables set up near the back (northernmost) parking lot beyond the pavilions
- As the Christina River Watershed Cleanup website notes, this year’s event at Fox Point State Park will have a NEW MEETING PLACE.
- Volunteers will meet near the back (northernmost) parking lot (AND NOT at one of the pavilions at the front of the park as in years past). Please follow CLEANUP signs to the back of the park.
