Fishing Volunteers are welcome at White Clay Creek State Park! Do you fish at the park and want to give back through volunteer service? There are fishing-related volunteer tasks that make a real difference in the park. Clean ups along stream bank trails, clearing the fishing line disposal containers, helping with fish stocking, assisting with Children With Challenges fishing event, are some of the tasks available.
When: Some task are done on your own schedule while others occur on specific dates.
Who: Any individuals or small groups who fish at the park and wish to volunteer.
Wear: long pants, closed toed shoes and layered clothing that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather.
Bring: work gloves if you have them and a personal water bottle. Other tools will be provided.
Parking: TBA
NOTE: Ticks are active in the park and poison ivy may be present. Please use caution and do a tick check on returning home.
