This is a private volunteer opportunity for Wilmington, DE, Rotary Clubs.
Thank you to Wilmington, DE, Rotary Clubs — including Rotary Club of Wilmington, Rotary Club of Brandywine Hundred, Rotary Club of Brandywine-Naamans, and Rotary Club of Caesar Rodney of Wilmington — for joining us for an Earth Day 2023 volunteer event!
Every day is Earth Day in Delaware State Parks. The division places extra emphasis on the occasion this month, however — the holiday falls on April 22. This year, Earth Day caps National Volunteer Week, which is April 16-22. Delaware State Parks could not accomplish what we do without our volunteers.
Alapocas Run State Park is grateful to the Rotary Clubs of the Wilmington, DE, area for continuing to help take care of the Can-Do Playground. The Can-Do Playground, designed to be accessible for every child and completed in 2007, was made possible by the Rotaries.
