Creek Fest is a fun family-friendly all-afternoon event to celebrate our beautiful White Clay Creek at White Clay Creek State Park. Creek Fest 2025 is on Saturday May 3rd from 12noon to 4:00pm. It takes a lot of volunteers to make Creek Fest run smoothly and we need your help!
Volunteer opportunity on Friday May 2nd, 2025:
- Load the van at the Nature Center 1:00 pm (1 hour) 4 volunteers needed for loading and unloading.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER ON THE SITE TO PARTICIPATE!

Volunteer opportunities on Saturday May 3, 2025 include:
- Set up team 10:00 am – 12:00 noon (2 hours) 6 volunteers needed
- Craft table first shift - 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm (2 hours) 4 volunteers needed
- Craft table second shift - 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (2 hours) 4 volunteers needed
- Tear down 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (1.5 hours) 4 volunteers needed
We could also use Experienced Face Painters - !! Please contact Claire.Mickletz@delaware.gov if you have experience and would like to assist.

Who: Suitable for adults over 18 and youths 16 or older.
Wear: comfortable shoes
Bring: a personal water bottle
Parking: Carpenter Recreation Area, 880 New London Rd
