Earth Day Volunteer Event at Lums Pond State Park!


Join us on April 25th to celebrate Earth Day and giving back to your local community! Lums Pond State Park will be hosting a volunteer event in Area 2 from 9am - 12pm. This is a great opportunity to give back, enjoy the outdoors, and make a visible difference in our community. 


Tasks will include:

  • Re-mulching the Area 2 playground
  • Sweeping and cleaning the new Tennis and Pickleball court
  • Trail trimming and litter pickup on the surrounding trails

Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole event, your help makes an impact. Let’s work together to keep our park clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy!


Please note: Please bring: 
Closed toed shoes required Filled Water bottle
Clothes you can get dirty recommended
Sunscreen/bug spray
Parking is free for volunteers! Make sure to get your parking pass from the on-site manager.  Work or Garden gloves (gloves available if needed)


**This event is weather dependent. In the case of inclement weather, the event may be rescheduled for an alternative date. Registered users will be notified via email of any changes.
