Trail and Grounds Volunteer Crew" Volunteers keep trails ready for hikers and bikers at Auburn Valley State Park and are an essential part of keeping the park clean and welcoming.

The TGVC is an invaluable team who aids our maintenance with gate opening, leaf blowing, litter clean up, tree and trail condition reporting and helping visitors with wayfinding.  This is a constant need, especially during the growing season. Your efforts will help keep trails open and welcoming for park visitors.

Who:  Suitable for individuals and for small teams up to 5 people. Perfect opportunity for the retiree looking for more outdoor time, and chances to help represent the state parks through public service.

Wear: long pants, closed toed shoes and layered clothing that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather.

Parking: Volunteers will park and report at the maintenance shop in the morning and can park there before getting into a kubota to go about park projects on the trails.
