Join us at the Brandywine Zoo for a bat-astic good time at Boo at the Zoo! We're looking for volunteers ready to haunt our event and engage our guests! This family friendly event is our annual "trick-or-treating" event at the zoo, with local vendors, Halloween-themed educational opportunities, and of course, our spook-tacular animals!
As a Boo at the Zoo event volunteer, volunteers can expect to:
- Pass out candy to zoo guests
- Ensure all tables are fully stocked with candy throughout the event
- Helping with additional event logistics as needed
We're looking for 10 volunteers each day on Friday, October 17th between 9:30am and 12:30pm. . If signed up for 6 hours, volunteers will receive a break mid-way through the day.

Please note: Background checks are required for this opportunity. Delaware State Parks covers the cost of the background checks for all volunteers, so there is no cost associated with volunteering. The Manager of Volunteers will provide additional information.
