Invasive Plant ID and Bioblitz on June 27th 10:00am-12:00pm
Join the park interpreter team in doing a bioblitz and Invasive plant ID down our Trolley Trail. Volunteers will start the morning off early with a quick lesson on basic invasive plant identification and then split into teams doing work with brightly colored streamers to identify invasive plants in the park. Other plants will be identified and information gathered as part of a Bioblitz project. Volunteers are requested to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Great for the student in need of summer volunteer hours or the adult with a love of preserving our serene natural areas. Parking at the Farm Lane parking lot.
