The Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park are hosting their annual Fishing Derby for our community with special needs on Saturday, April 26th, and we need volunteers to help make this special event a success!
Dedicated volunteers are needed to help participants bait their hooks, teach participants how to fish, and more! Prior fishing experience is welcome, but not required.
Volunteers should be comfortable working with participants with a wide range of ages and abilities. For some, this may be their very first time fishing, and your gentle guidance will go a long way toward making this a rewarding experience.
