Help us at Brandywine Creek State Park bring in the new season at Bug Days of Summer! We'll be celebrating the amazing insects all around us with tons of bug themed activities all afternoon. Event attendees will be able to listen to music from local children's bands, get crafty with bug themed projects, and end the evening by admiring the fireflies in our meadows.
We're looking for 10 volunteers who can help us make this event a success! Volunteers will be assigned to help with the check-in table, lead crafting stations, monitor the bounce houses, or float and help out wherever needed!
Interested volunteers should respond to this opportunity, and the Manager of Volunteers will reach out to coordinate positions. If you cannot make the full 5 hour time frame, we'll still welcome your help! The Manager of Volunteers and the naturalist team at Brandywine Creek State Park will find a position that works for you.
Event Date: June 21st, 2025
Event Time: 3:00-8:30pm
Event Location: Brandywine Creek State Park Hawk Watch
Parking: Free parking will be available for volunteers in our Hawk Watch or Nature Center Parking Lots.
- Volunteers without season park passes do not need to pay for daily admission. All volunteers will receive day passes to the park from the Manager of Volunteers.
