Join a Nationwide Call to Action!

Two Lights for Tomorrow celebrates the 250th anniversary of the famous ride of Paul Revere which occurred overnight from April 18-19, 1775. On April 19th, First State Heritage Park is celebrating this historic event with a Day of Service. Help prepare the John Bell House and Rose Cottage for the upcoming year by picking up litter and assisting is basic landscaping!

This hands-on project is a great way to become familiar with the historic Dover Green and interact with knowledgeable staff about the history of John Bell House and the surrounding grounds. 

What to Bring: 

  • Sunscreen and/or bug spray
  • Water bottle
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather

What is Provided

  • Work gloves
  • Trash bags for litter collection
  • Litterer Grabbers
  • Water cooler

Important Notes: 

  • Parking can be limited and should be considered prior to the event
