Interested in assisting with this year's Delaware Defense Day at Fort Miles? Be a shuttle greeter!
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests as they arrive off the shuttle with a warm and inviting demeanor.
- Hand out event schedules to guests, providing them with valuable information about the day's activities.
- Keep track of the number of people on each shuttle to ensure efficient transportation.
- Engage guests in friendly conversation while they wait for the shuttle, enhancing their overall experience.
Shifts Available:
Volunteer shifts are available in 3 time blocks of 2 hours or 2 hours and 20 minutes:
- 1st Shift: 9:00am - 11:00am
- 2nd Shift: 11:20am - 1:40pm
- 3rd Shift: 1:40pm - 4:00pm
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
- Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of individuals in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
