Volunteer: Planting for PollinatorsSpring is in bloom, and so is Brandywine Creek State Park's Pollinator Garden! We're looking for dedicated volunteers to help us kick off Earth Week celebrations with a pollinator garden workday! At our Planting for Pollinators garden workday, volunteers can expect to assist with gardening tasks ranging from pulling unwanted and invasive plants taking root in our pollinator garden to laying down new mulch along our pathways. We may even have new plants that need to be planted near our nature center! Tools and gloves are welcome, but not required! We will provide all tools, gloves and trash bags. Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. Volunteers are encouraged to bring sunscreen and a reusable bottle of water. Meeting Place: Brandywine Creek State Park Park Office and Nature Center Parking: Parking is available at the Brandywine Creek State Park Park Office and Nature Center. The Manager of Volunteers will provide parking passes to all volunteers attending. Please follow directions to 4244 Wilsons Run Rd, Wilmington, DERegistration: Registration is encouraged so we can ensure there are enough supplies and tools for all volunteers, but not required.
