Volunteer: Bellevue Tree PlantingJoin us at Bellevue State Park to plant 200 trees across the park in celebration of Earth Day and the 75th Anniversary of the Delaware State Parks! Meeting: Bellevue Arts Center (2671 Arts Center Rd) Parking: Main parking lot. Temporary parking passes for the event will be provided should you not have one. Volunteers will meet at the Arts Center, where we will then walk together to the first site. The first site will receive 50 trees and the second will receive the remaining 150. Once the first round of trees are planted, we will walk down to the second site to plant what is remaining. Please note each site is about a five to ten minute walk from the nearest parking lot respectively. See the below map for further reference. Volunteers are encouraged to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and to bring a water bottle and a personal pair of gardening gloves. Gloves will be provided but may be in limited supply. All other tools will be provided by the park. Should there be time remaining once all trees are planted, there may be additional volunteer opportunities available that day.
