Help Protect Delaware Seashore's Ecosystem!
On Thursday, May 28th help us protect the natural beauty of Delaware Seashore State Park by removing invasive Annual Honesty plants. Join fellow volunteers in a hands-on conservation project to protect native plants that support the ecosystem.
Why?
Annual Honesty is an invasive ornamental plant that outcompetes native plants for resources. Since it is not native to the ecosystem, it does not provide the same ecosystem benefits (ex: food, shelter) that native plants do. Removing invasive plants helps native plants survive and continue to support native wildlife and ecosystems.
