Description

Volunteer with us in honor of MLK Day of Service & to kick off our 75th Anniversary!

Did you know Trap Pond was our states very first established Delaware State Park?! That's right and Jason Beach within our park was a fundamental gathering place in our local history long before that (Read more about it at the links below). Join us in cleaning up the area to celebrate!

Volunteers will be:

  • picking up litter
  • removing staples/tape/etc. from the pavilions
  • removing any fishing line from trees/shrubbery
  • cleaning kiosk/display boards
  • rearrange picnic tables
  • any other duties needed to refresh the area

Things to know:

  • Any supplies/tools need will be provided
  • Please dress for the weather!
  • Bring drinking water to stay hydrated
  • All Volunteer's will meet Manager of Volunteers at Jason Beach parking lot to sign in; CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS!
