Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Killens Pond State Park!
This volunteer role is vital in helping keep the line(s) moving at the water park entrance in a safe and timely manner. You will be assisting with putting wristbands on the visitors and possibly answering any questions they may have. This volunteer role is on an as needed basis; park staff will get in touch ahead of time to request help. The main time this role is needed is weekday mornings 9-11am and possibly weekends 1:45pm through 4/5pm. When signing up for this role, please indicate in the "notes" section if you are available for the weekday morning, weekend afternoon, or both shifts. As well as if there are any dates you already know don't work for you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors with applying their wristband upon entry
- Provide clear and courteous guidance to visitors & possible questions
Requirements
- Volunteer in this role will need to have patience
- good communication skills
- Be ok with being on their feet for long period of time (let us know of any restrictions and we can try and work through accommodations)
- a smile :)
- anyone over 18 will need to complete a background check (free of charge to you)
