The Brandywine Zoo is building a garden for our partners at Eco Plastic Products of Delaware, and we'd like your help to make it happen! Volunteers will assist Brandywine Zoo and Eco Plastic Products staff with sod removal, soil amendment, planting, watering, and mulching! All of the plants we're putting into this garden are native plants specifically chosen for their benefits to native pollinators, so we're not only beautifying the city of Wilmington, but also providing valuable habitat!
Gloves and tools will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own as well. Gardening experience is welcome but not required.
Lunch will be provided to all volunteers, so be sure to register so we can get an accurate count! Whether you can only join us for a short time or the whole day, we'd love to have you out!
