Scouts are welcome to volunteer at White Clay Creek State Park! A variety of activities can be done, both by individual scouts getting service hours and by scout troops doing service projects.
Park staff can also coordinate closely with Eagle scout candidates to complete projects that benefit the park and satisfy Eagle scout requirements.
When: Individual scouts and groups can sign up for opportunities on the volunteer calendar, or schedule custom volunteer events, or coordinate a meeting to discuss Eagle project opportunities.
Who: Individual scouts or troops.
Wear: long pants, closed toed shoes and layered clothing that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather.
Bring: work gloves if you have them and a personal water bottle. Other tools can be provided. (Eagle project candidates should provide the necessary tools.)

NOTE: Ticks are active in the park and poison ivy may be present. Please use caution and do a tick check on returning home.
