"Adopt-A-Trail" volunteers keep trails looking good at at White Clay Creek State Park. On at least a monthly basis Adopt-A-Trail volunteers walk their assigned trail to clip back overgrowing vegetation and report on trail conditions. Your efforts will help keep trails open and welcoming for park visitors. With almost 40 miles of trails, we couldn't do it without you!
When: during the growing season, from March thru November
Who: suitable for individuals and for small teams up to 5 people.
Wear: long pants, closed toed shoes and layered clothing that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather.
Bring: your work gloves, loppers and hand pruners
Parking: Assigned volunteers park in a lot near their trail location. If you do not have a state park parking pass, you can receive a temporary parking pass for use during your volunteer visits only.
