Do you like haunted trails or cryptid encounters? Join us at Brandywine Creek State Park for the Legend of the Brandywine Werewolf! Werewolf sightings have been recorded along the Brandywine Creek dating back to 1962 and earlier. We need your help on this guided hike as we attempt to catch our own werewolves!
We're looking for passionate volunteers who aren't afraid of the things that go bump in the night to help us create a spooky time for our guests. Volunteers will assist with guest check-in or be stationed along our trail to help startle program participants.
There will be two programs on November 8th. The first will be 6:30pm-7:30pm, and the second will be 8:30pm-9:30pm. Volunteers should plan to be on-site between 6:00pm and 10:00pm.
Interested volunteers should respond to this opportunity or reach out to the Manager of Volunteers at luvina.cooley@delaware.gov.
*Please note: DNREC policy requires all volunteers over the age of 18 and working with the public to have a completed background check. This is a free service provided by the Parks. After you respond to the opportunity, the Manager of Volunteers will reach out to initiative your background check.
