Join us on Saturday, March 22nd, for a day of orienteering fun and see if you can find the hidden treasure at the end of the trail! The naturalists will lead an introduction to the basics of the Scandinavian sport of orienteering! Orienteering is a fun way to learn important navigation skills (such as reading a map and compass) and how to use them together to navigate the landscape.
We're looking for 1 volunteer to help us with running our check-in table and keep time for our participants as they explore the sport.
Time: 11:00am-2:00pm
Meeting Place: Brandywine Creek State Park Nature Center
Directions: Follow directions to 41 Adams Dam Road, Wilmington, DE, 19803
